The collection consists primarily of family correspondence and miscellaneous materials, including some genealogical notes, receipts, a stock certificate, lists and wills of John G. and Mary B. Hall. Several letters relate to everyday concerns during the Revolutionary War and to the experience of a soldier in World War I.
